Create Cross Section

Ribbon: Drawing Production > Cross Sections

With this function you can create a new cross section.

Intention	Create a new cross profile.
Instructions	Run the Create Cross Section function. Select the reference track path. Select the source object and optional elements to be included, e.g. additional poles or track paths. Run the Create Cross Section function.
Result	Sicat Master creates the cross profile and saves the associated data in the project database. The view of the cross profile is shown automatically.

The graphic window Cross Section shows the elements associated to the cross section.

Sicat Master looks for all elements associated to the cross section during creation, based on the source element, via its holders and held elements. For this reason all directly or indirectly linked elements in the transversal plane rank among the cross section. If additional elements were declared when creating the cross profile, Sicat Master treats them just like the source element and searches for all linked elements in the transversal plane. In this manner it is possible to include elements into the cross section, which are not connected to each other.
